This included using our fantastic shields to create the battle formations which the Romans were famous for.

Hamza even made a start to sketching out the formations as if planning out his very own invasion.
This was followed by some Roman games including Roman numerals snap, Roman top trumps (as created by the children!) and some tricky word searches to test our knowledge.
In the afternoon, we were able to enjoy a Roman feast and even had fun competing in a quiz as a whole year group.
